Where's
Nemo?
(Question from the front page)
He's at the CSPA booth at the San Mateo
ISE!
Come visit the
CSPA booth #1203, at the rejuvenated San Mateo International Sportsman's
Exposition
January 6, 2009 -- The California Sportfishing Protection
Alliance will have a booth at the newly expanded San Mateo International
Sportsman's Exposition. Six of CSPA's members will man the booth along
with three volunteers, generous of their time. The CSPA people will be;
Jim Crenshaw, President, John Beuttler, Conservation Director, Chris
Shutes, FERC Projects Director, Corey Cate, Board Secretary, Richard
Izmirian, Director and Jerry Neuburger, Webmaster.
If you have specific questions on fishing issues plan to visit the
booth when CSPA's specialists are there. John Beuttler is knowledgeable
about many of the efforts at improving the state's fisheries and has
worked with legislators to introduce much needed fish and game
protection laws. Chris Shutes understands the FERC licensing process
backwards and forewords. Jim Crenshaw, who sits as the chair of the Bay
Delta Stamp Advisory Committee can answer many of your questions on what
is happening with the over eight million dollars collected and in the
state's coffers.
Our two volunteers, Stan Brinker and Barry Williams will help in explaining CSPA's Bay/Delta position, assist in signing you
up for CSPA's free weekly newsletter which covers the most recent news
regarding California's fisheries and water wars and help you become a
proud CSPA member, fighting to conserve and restore California's once
great fisheries.
The
booth will feature premiums for new members including hats, shirts and
jackets and we have some special deals on memberships! We'll also have
some high quality tee-shirts for sale with the logo, "Just Add
Water". The tees are provided by John Ryzanych, owner of Icon
Products with ALL of the profits going to CSPA. John has also
provided CSPA with 50 of his famous decals and is allowing us to give
them as bonus gifts to the first fifty people who become new CSPA
members.
A schedule of when the various CSPA personnel and volunteers will be
manning the booth is below. Please come over and say hello and be sure
to sign up for CSPA's weekly newsletter.
