CSPA Sends NOI to K&M Recycling
February 12, 2010 -- CSPA sent a Notice of Intent to Sue for violations of the federal Clean Water Act to K& M Recycling (Waste Management) for illegally discharging polluted stormwater in violations of the substantive and procedural requirements of the General Industrial Stormwater Permit. K&M Recycling is a 9.4-acre waste collection and recycling facility, which discharges to the Sacramento storm water drain system and thence to Morrison Creek and the Sacramento River. Lozeau Drury LLP and the Law Offices of Andrew Packard are representing CSPA in this matter.(Continued)
