Casting Instruction will be provided by Al Kyte, Floyd Dean, John Till, Bob Middo and Michael Maloney. Each one is an expert in their fields of fly fishing and fly casting. There will also be an opportunity to earn a Casting Certification through the Federation of Fly Fishers.
The Learning Center – for Beginners of all Ages – will feature continuous activities including: The Basics of Fly Tying, Casting, Knots, Reading the Water and Insect Life. Youth (ages 10 to 16) program are scheduled all day Saturday. Young enthusiasts can participate in special educational classes for kids on the aquatic life cycles of insects and fish species, and learn the basics of fly tying, casting and other fly fishing essentials.
Seminars on Friday and Saturday will show you how to improve casting and fishing skills as well as where and how to fly fish the West.
You don’t want to miss the commercial exhibits on all things for fly fishing; Equipment, Guide Services and Trips. There will be special fly tying and casting classes Friday and Saturday and fly tying demonstrations from more than 40 of the best fly tiers in the west.
Friday night there will be a barbeque with sausages and chili. On Saturday a spectacular evening banquet and social, featuring a great dinner, raffle and auction will be held. This is a great opportunity to help support conservation and education programs. We will have a large selection of fly fishing equipment – rods, reels, pontoon boats, vests, etc. - along with special trips. This promises to be the best fishing event of the year!

From San Francisco:

From Napa:
Take Highway 12 East to Lodi, turn left on DeVries, then turn right on Turner Road.
The winery is 1 mile west of Lodi on Turner Road between Davis Road and DeVries Road.
Wine tasting will be available and finger foods will be provided by the Festival of Fly Fishing Committee Members. Enjoy a relaxing evening getting to know one another with fine wine and great food.
