{"id":2290,"date":"2018-08-18T11:26:50","date_gmt":"2018-08-18T18:26:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/calsport.org\/fisheriesblog\/?p=2290"},"modified":"2018-08-18T11:26:50","modified_gmt":"2018-08-18T18:26:50","slug":"epic-salmon-fishing-this-summer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/calsport.org\/fisheriesblog\/?p=2290","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;Epic&#8221; Salmon Fishing this Summer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Reports on the July 15 opener on the lower Sacramento fall-run salmon season are good.<sup class='footnote'><a href='#fn-2290-1' id='fnref-2290-1' onclick='return fdfootnote_show(2290)'>1<\/a><\/sup> Reclamation and Sacramento River farmers have provided the flows needed to keep water temperatures down (Figure 1), allowing what appears to be a good run up the river from the Golden Gate. Openers in recent years have been poor because of <a href=\"http:\/\/calsport.org\/fisheriesblog\/?p=2238\">low flows and high water temperatures<\/a>, as well as low salmon numbers.
