CSPA, Coalition Submit Comments on FONSI and Draft EA For Tracy Interim CVP Contract Renewal

On 4 November 2013, CSPA and a coalition of eleven other fishing, environmental and tribal organizations submitted comments on the Find of No Significant Impact (FONSI) and the draft Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Central Valley Project’s water service interim renewal contract for the City of Tracy.  The comments point out that the EA: 1) fails to disclose broad impacts; 2) fails to consider a full range of alternatives; 3) fails to comply with the federal Endangered Species Act and 4) fails to disclose or analyze cumulative impacts.  The coalition urges that a full Environmental Impact Analysis be conducted.
