CSPA Sues Aluminum Foundry in Stockton for Violations of Clean Water Act
On 5 April 2011, CSPA filed a lawsuit against Trilore Technologies, Inc. for massive violations of the federal Clean Water Act, the state’s General Industrial Stormwater Permit. The Stockton aluminum foundry illegally discharges polluted stormwater to Lone Tree Creek and thence the San Joaquin River and Delta.

CSPA, California Water Impact Network (C-WIN) and AquAlliance have submitted comments to the State Water Resources Control Board regarding the group’s protest of the long-term water transfer petition by the California Department of Water Resources (DWR) and Westlands Water District. The transfers total 64,275 acre-feet of water.
